Meet Dr. Debra Semone Bernard (Pearland, TX)
Debra Semone Bernard, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from MCPHS University College of Optometry, graduating in 2024. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2018.
Dr. Bernard chose optometry because vision plays an important role in overall quality of life. She was inspired by the impact a comprehensive eye exam can have, from identifying health conditions early to helping patients see clearly and comfortably. The combination of medical care, hands-on work, and long-term patient relationships made optometry a strong fit for her.
She enjoys being able to make a direct difference in her patients’ lives and finds it rewarding to help them see and feel their best. Dr. Bernard considers it a privilege to provide trusted, personalized eye care.
